Summer Activity Camps: The Adventures of Heracles!
This July, over three days, kids aged 5-11 can kick off their holidays in style at the Good Shepherd Studios, by throwing themselves into the labours of Heracles! This is a summer job like no other: each day will tell the tale of one of the 12 epic quests Heracles was forced to undertake to win back his family and restore his honour! Expect sword battles, flying arrows, fiendish puzzles, dodgeball wars, arts and crafts, gods and goddesses, heroes and heroines, fine poetry and epic rock music... (basically, everything you'd ever need for an epic Greek adventure!)
First up, all he’s got to do is slay the multi-headed hydra, after taking on the best chariot racers from across all of Greece, AND getting to Sainsbury’s to buy a pint of milk before it closes.

Big H has got a particularly smelly task on his hands today… he must clean out the biggest animal stable in all the land for King Augeus! This could get... messy. Very messy. And smelly.... and pooey.
Can our young adventurers help Heracles with his poopy problem? Or will they be drowning in dung for the rest of the year?

The third and final Heraclean labour of the week sees our danger-prone protagonist taking on a horde of stymphalian birds! These things are no turkeys… imagine the speed of a hawk, the wingspan of an albatross, and the obnoxious appetite of a Brighton seagull… all swooping down on Heracles like he’s an extra-juicy worm at dinner time. Time to practise your arrow skills, finish your ice cream quickly, and for Zeus’ sake, somebody put down some newspaper…. this is gonna get messy!

Peter's Pan: A Kitchen Sink Panto!
Coming to the Good Shepherd Studios this Christmas: a kitchen sink pantomime, where all (or most) of the characters are vegetables! Peter is a poor street urchin who has spent his entire life in Never-land, an awful place where you can never be what you want to be, and nasty people tell you what to do all the time! Luckily, Peter has a couple of friends - a talking frying pan with a rebellious streak and an enchanted vegetable called Tinker Bell Pepper - who are here to help him escape to Whatever-land, a magical place where everyone is free to be whatever they want to be! Help this hapless trio escape the clutches of the evil Captain Cook, who will deploy every nasty henchman at his disposal to stop them from leaving! October Half-Term Camp: Orpheus vs Cerberus!
The second instalment of our two-day October holiday camp sees the famous musician Orpheus, hailed by some as the Justin Bieber of Ancient Greece (but don't let that put you off), travel to the underworld to rescue the soul of a dear friend. Only problem is, a three-headed canine called Cerberus is (quite literally) hell-bent on spoiling the party!
An interactive, immersive activity camp where the games drive the story! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's only everyone's favourite flying horse, soaring through the skies of East London in search of adventure, glory, and maybe a nice oat latte from Gail's. Myths, Maps & Monsters return to the Good Shepherd Studios this October for an entire day of Pegasus-themed mayhem! Our young Greeks will battle Pegasus' mother Medusa, pilfer loot from the pirates of the Aegean sea, and go head-to-head with the fire-breathing Chimera!

Our brave adventurers drop in on Ancient Athens, where King Aegues is having some problems with his pirate neighbours from Krete! Can our young Athenians sail across the seas, enter the labyrinth beneath King Minos' palace, and defeat the Minotaur?
An immersive, interactive summer holiday activity camp, where young adventurers must complete a series of super-fun challenges in order to defeat famous, mythical beasts from Greek Mythology. Our brave warriors-in-waiting can expect to try their hand at Cyclops archery, have a water fight with Poseidon and play the Minotaur at basketball!

It is the year 1200 BCE and Odysseus and his army find themselves trapped in a Cyclops' cave! Our brave young warriors must use teamwork, cunning and skill in order to complete a series of tasks, outsmart the Cyclops and return home to victory!
